DIH Health is a NSB co-funded initiative aimed at exploiting digital healthcare solutions and innovations.

The initiative has been activated with the support of 21 DIHs and is currently “supported” by the Italian agency ProMIS.

The Interreg ACSELL project has also contributed to shape the initial strategy.

Digital Innovation Hubs have been identified by the European Commission several years ago as a means to help companies improve their processes, products and services through the use of digital technologies.

In 2020, Nerosubianco identified a group of Hubs belonging to the European DIH Catalogue with a focus (also) on digital health and digital health technologies (i.e.: robotics, monitoring devices, etc.) and asked them to join forces to accelerate digital innovation in the European healthcare system.

Members aim at strengthening the relationships between technology providers and the possible end users of the healthcare system by exploiting their assets and connections throughout Europe.
