SENSOR4FOOD is a Horizon Europe project developing five new advanced photonic technologies and integrating them with other sensing technologies to improve food safety, product quality and traceability, as well as animal welfare, in the poultry sector.
The project combines cutting-edge photonic sensors with artificial intelligence to transform poultry production through faster, smarter monitoring. The technologies developed will be integrated across the entire value chain to enhance feed safety, animal welfare, meat quality, biosafety, product valorisation and traceability.
As leader of the exploitation, stakeholder engagement, and market uptake activities, NSBproject is proud to contribute to bringing these innovations ever closer to industrial adoption and to making a tangible impact on the real world.
Ultimately, SENSOR4FOOD aims to make the European agri-food sector more efficient, sustainable and competitive on the global stage.
