april 16, 2026 | New Connections, New Horizons at ADRA’s Future Ready Event
NSBproject at Future Ready 2026
Brussels, 16 April 2026
NSBproject participated today in Future Ready 2026, the flagship annual event organised by ADRA — the AI, Data and Robotics Association — in collaboration with the European Commission and the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA). Held in hybrid format in Brussels, the event brought together researchers, innovators, industry leaders and policymakers from across Europe under the shared mission of harnessing AI, data and robotics for next-generation innovation.
About the Event
Future Ready 2026 is designed to bridge the gap between research excellence and real-world impact.
The day-long programme, structured around success story showcases, synergy sessions, panel discussions and breakout workshops, focused on one central question:
- how can cutting-edge projects funded under Horizon Europe move beyond completion and reach deployment, commercialisation and scale?
ADRA’s Topic Groups played a central role in the agenda, creating a structured space where diverse stakeholders unite to advance shared technology goals. The event convened leading voices including representatives from the European Commission’s Robotics and AI unit, as well as coordinators and partners from some of Europe’s most ambitious AI, data and robotics initiatives.
NSBproject’s Participation
NSBproject engaged actively throughout the day, connecting with leading project coordinators from the ADR ecosystem and exploring new collaboration avenues for the exploitation and market uptake of cutting-edge research results.
Among the most significant interactions was the joint presence with the TORNADO Horizon Europe project, of which NSBproject is an official partner responsible for exploitation activities. TORNADO is developing an innovative cloud robotics platform enabling autonomous mobile robots to operate in complex, human-populated environments. Its technology leverages advanced AI-driven perception and interaction capabilities to allow robots to manipulate small, soft and deformable objects — a breakthrough with strong potential for deployment in European industry.
NSBproject’s expertise in business modelling, go-to-market strategy and technology transfer directly supports TORNADO’s path to market, complementing the project’s deep technical capabilities. Together, they share the goal of accelerating the real-world deployment of frontier AI and robotics technologies within the European industrial landscape.
Looking ahead
NSBproject participation in Future Ready 2026 reflects its ongoing commitment to being at the heart of Europe’s innovation ecosystem, not only supporting individual projects, but actively building the collaborative networks that transform research into lasting impact.
We look forward to developing these connections further and turning today’s conversations into tomorrow’s joint initiatives.
