IAM-I Vision 2040
As an active member of the Innovative Advanced Materials Initiative (IAM-I), NSB is proud to announce its formal endorsement of the newly released Vision 2040 roadmap, launched on September 7, 2026.
The Vision 2040 roadmap sets a strategic ambition for Europe: to roughly halve the time required to bring advanced materials innovations from the laboratory to industrial markets—moving from the current 10–20 years down to 5–10 years.
By supporting this initiative, NSB reaffirms its commitment to a connected, data-driven European ecosystem.
Through AI-powered discovery, shared data spaces (Materials Commons), and Safe and Sustainable-by-Design (SSbD) principles, we continue to work alongside over 300 European partners to strengthen industrial competitiveness and technological sovereignty.
